I no longer want to write requirements for a living

I no longer want to write requirements for a living.

I want to write tools, POC’s, and apps quickly. I want to bring the solutions to life, so the client can see them. I want to combine my analysis and development skills, rather than be siloed.

Right now, my .Net CLI application is chewing through server logs, calling out to Claude for analysis, and generating nicely formatted reports for management and product teams.

It’s a rapid POC. No Jira stories are in sight, nor are many unit tests – although efforts have been made to mitigate major risks. We’ll backfill production quality ‘gaps’ as and when the scaling dictates.

This is a way more interesting way to design solutions and build software.
